Cricket Schools' Cup draw

Seeding has been introduced in the Ulster Bank Schools Cricket Cup for the first time with six teams receiving automatic entry into the second round.

Limavady Grammar will face Portora Royal School in the first round, while Foyle College received bye into the second round.

The draw for the first round to be played by April 22 is: Wallace High School v Carrickfergus Grammar School; Ballyclare High School v Friends School, Lisburn; Ballymena Academy v Royal School Dungannon; Lurgan College v Methodist College Belfast; Belfast High School v Bangor Grammar School; Regent House v Royal School Armagh; Limavady Grammar School v Portora Royal School and Grosvenor Grammar School v RBAI Seconds.

Second round matches to be played by May 6 will be: Wallace High School or Carrickfergus Grammar School v BRA; Campbell College v Ballyclare High School or Friends School, Lisburn; Ballymena Academy or Royal School Dungannon v Coleraine Grammar School; Foyle College v Lurgan College or Methodist College Belfast; Belfast High School or Bangor Grammar School v Down High School: RBAI v Regent House or Royal School Armagh; Limavady Grammar School or Portora Royal School v Strabane Academy and Sullivan Upper v Grosvenor Grammar School or RBAI Seconds.

In the Ulster Bank Schools Under 15 Cup there’s a derby with Lisneal College hosting Foyle College, while Royal School Armagh take on Limavady Grammar.

Ties in the U15 Cup will be played by April 22.

Strabane Academy travel to BRA for a second round tie, which will be played by May 6.
