Cricketers face crunch clash on Saturday
Ballymena First XI had a free date last Saturday, although in the event they would almost certainly would not have played anyway as the heavy rain wiped out almost the entire NCU fixture list.
This weekend they travel to play CSNI at the international ground at Stormont.
Their opponents have made a disappointing start to their league season and, like Ballymena, have won just one of their four league games played thus far.

Hide AdBallymena’s bowlers will need to be at their best to keep the runs down on the excellent Stormont wicket and will be hoping that Rob McKinley will recover from recent hamstring problems in time to take his place in the attack.
Ballymena are certainly in need of a confidence – boosting victory to set them up for a string of important home games in the next few weeks.
