Cup draws

THE draw was made at Stormont for the semi finals of the ClubTurf Ulster Cup.

Brigade gained the final semi-final spot winning their clash with Civil Service North by 36 runs, thanks primarily to 81 from Ireland A international Niall McDonnell.

That helped them to a total of 169 - in reply a disciplined bowling display restricted the Belfast side to 137 all out.

The semi-final ties are as follows: Instonians v Strabane and Limavady v Brigade. Ties to be played on Sunday, July 25.

Meanwhile the draw has been made for the semi-finals of the Ulster Shield competition and it means that there is a chance of an all North West final.

Ardmore host Muckamore, while Bonds Glen visit Laurevale and the ties will be played on Sunday, July 25.
