Frylinck is a left arm medium quick opening bowler, who also bats in the middle order.
The all-rounder played for South Africa in the 2012 Under 19 World Cup in Australia, helping his side finish third.
He currently plays first class cricket for Griqualand West, having started his career with Border.
He has taken 49 wickets at an average of 24.36 in the 19 first-class matches he has played to date, and averages just over 14 with the bat.
He replaces Pakistani all rounder Kamran Sajid who scored 817 runs and captured 40 wickets for the Holm club this season.
His exploits helped the club secure their third consecutive Senior Cup crown, but a modest league campaign saw them lose seven matches to finish a disappointing fourth, ten points adrift of champions Strabane.
Club captain Richard Kee welcomed the signing saying: “We’ve been fairly fortunate over the years with our choice of professionals, and hope Jan turns out to be as prolific as Azhar (Shafiq) and Kammy (Sajid).
“We have the nucleus of a good young squad now so hopefully Jan will fit in well at The Holm.”
