The Magheramason men chased over 200 last week and won comfortably. Stewart Clarke carried on where he left off last season with a sparkling innings. They will be hoping their professional arrives for this one.

Limavady, last season's joint champions failed with the bat in their defeat at Strabane but that won't happen very often this season: their bowling looked in good nick, they may prove to strong for the home side.

Prediction: Limavady.

Brigade v Fox Lodge

Both these sides had impressive opening day victories, the home side have an array of talent in their ranks and their ground is looking magnificent. When they can have Richard Wylie batting at number seven it shows the depth in their batting. Graham Moore and Johnny Thompson were in good form with the ball also.

The Foxies were very impressive chasing down nearly 200 last week. Professional Darryl Brown had a superb innings and the talented Jason Milligan was also in excellent form, they will cause plenty of shocks this season but maybe not in this one.

Prediction: Brigade.

Eglinton v Donemana

The home side fielded a very young side last week and their professional hadn't arrived they are hoping he will be here for this game. This season looks like being a bit of a struggle as they have lost a few players.

Donemana were shell shocked by last week's defeat with only James McBrine showing any form with the bat; that should only be a temporary blip as they have to much talent in their side they should get back to winning ways.

Prediction: Donemana.

Glendermott v St Johnston

The Bonds Street side have been busy in the close season with a number of new signings however they got off to a bad start last week. Their professional had a disappointing debut but Craig Averill was impressive.

The Donegal side batted very well at Bready on the opening day scoring over 200 but alas their bowlers let them down, this season is all about staying in the division but it is going to be difficult.

Prediction: Glendermott.
