Christopher Neely picked up 4-24 while Richard McMorris and Mark Gordon added two wickets apiece for the home side who then set about the reply with real intent.

Skipper Gordon hit seven fours and six sixes in his 74 and James Colhoun added 64 (nine fours, three sixes) while Timothy Dougherty’s 31 also helped gave them a real platform to close out the win.

An unbroken fourth wicket partnership between former Creevedonnell man Ellis McGarrigle (31 not out) and Alan Colhoun (26 not out) sealed the deal as Killyclooney continued their excellent start to the campaign.

Lee Britton’s 80 gave the home team a good start and, backed up by Ashley Buchanan (64), Roy Robinson (44), William Jackson (44) and too many extras, the Bee Gees were able to rack up 390 for seven in their 50 overs.

A rain interruption saw the target reduced to 365 from 46 however the away side gave it a real go before coming up just short.

Centuries from Kyle Morrow (123) and Jamie Millar (107) as well as 76 from Chris Moore saw them reach 290 for one at one stage before three run-outs in the race for quick scores allowed Bonds Glen to record a 20-run win.

The final game saw St Johnston also earn their first points as they consigned Sion Mills to their second successive defeat.
