Larne and Inver Primary School emerged victorious and took home the prize of six cricket bats after an exciting victory over Cairncastle in the final.

Linn Primary lost out at the semi-final stage with their two teams just failed to make it to the final.

Tournament organiser, and Larne Cricket Club chairman, Trevor Dempsey, presented all the participants with medals and he was quick to point out that the real winners were “the youngsters and the game of cricket itself.”

After the tournament Dempsey thanked all the members of Larne Cricket Club for visiting all the schools to provide basic coaching in the weeks before the tournament.
