Lisburn will have to raise their game a couple of notches if they are to compete with the Premier League leaders.

Lisburn’s key players must deliver runs and wickets; Chetty, Berry, Rankin and Lazars with runs and Davey Simpson, Richard McConkey, Stevie Lazars with the wickets if they are to bring off a shock result and take their place in the semi-final of the coveted Senior Cup.

Lisburn are currently bottom of the league - albeit after just three matches - but they will be hoping form will go out the window in a cup match.

Lisburn also play their last match in their 20/20 group and still have a chance of qualifying for the semi-final stage of the competition.

They travel to Stormont on Friday evening to play CSNI at 6pm.

The rearranged Premier League game due to be played at Derriaghy last Sunday had to be abandoned without a ball being bowled at Queensway due to incessant rain. The game will now be a 20/20 affair played later in the month.
