This is to complete the fixture abandoned two weeks ago and although there is little to play for as both sides are out of contention for league honours, Lisburn can end their campaign with seven wins out of fourteen and consider it a reasonable season.

Hopefully they will produce a better performance than their last 20/20 outing against Instonians last week. The team could only muster 98 for 7 in their allotment of overs and Inst had few problems in reaching the target.

James Magowan was by far the top scorer with 42 off just 35 balls with five boundaries and a six. Robert Rankin with 16 and Richard McConkey 19 not out took Lisburn to the under par score of 98 but the visitors took just 16 overs to score the necessary runs with Smith and White putting on 57 for the 3rd wicket to seal the match.

Lisburn have had an up and down season with some good results and some poor games they might have done better. They began the season with a succession of matches with extremely tight finishes, coming out on the wrong end of most of them but they did have very favourable results against Brigade in the Irish Cup and against CIYMS and CSNI in the league.

More consistency with the bat without depending so much on the class of Craig Ervine would be the aim for next season.
