2013 was an excellent season for the club with the wonderful weather boosting interest in cricket across all ages.

The season started in March with their first indoor practice sessions for Juniors at Wallace High - these were well attended and attracted several new cricketers to the club.

The biggest new initiative in the Juniors was the move to coloured 20-20 style tops. Lisburn were the first club in Ulster to move to these uniforms across all teams: under 11s, 13s and 15s. The club were fortunate to have local business, The Meat Merchant, sponsor the tops. This money was used to help fund the coaching sessions the club ran all summer and so contributed to their investment in local junior cricketers. The tops helped the excellent team spirit around the club and it was refreshing to see boys walking around town proudly wearing their Lisburn CC colours. The club would like to thank Peter Hannan for helping them introduce such a positive change.

The U15 team had an excellent season, the highlight of which was reaching the semi-final of the prestigious Graham Cup competition losing to the eventual winners Waringstown. The player of the year was Aaron McKeown.

The U13 team found things a bit tougher but several players made great progress over the summer. Player of the year was Scott Shannon.

The U11 team had their best season for many years, reaching the final of the league competition where they lost to local rivals Derriaghy. One of the highlights was to see the sons of Neil Doak (a star for the club and Ireland in the 1990s) develop into key players for the team. The player of the season was Michael Glass.

Lisburn CC would like to thank all the young cricketers and their families for their support.
