Maiden century for Max
Max Burton scored his maiden century for Carrick’s Under-13s in their Banoge Cup quarter-final win over Dundrum at Middle Road recently.
His brilliant, unbeaten innings of 154 in the 20-over match, contained 21 fours and seven sixes. It came just nine days after older brother Jack scored his first hundred for the club.
Both Burton brothers will be representing the Northen Cricket Union this week; Max in the Under-13s, and Jack in the Under-15 Interprovincial championships.
