Meet the Brigade men

Mark Simpson (Captain) - Brigade stalwart, over his cricketing career has been part of the winning team in all trophies. Role model for any young cricketer.

Iftikhar Hussain (Vice Captain) - One of the most consistent all rounders over the past decade, surprising that he has never been selected for Ireland.

Niall McDonnell - In Ireland A squad, right handed aggressive opening batsman who will be playing against his former colleagues. N West player of the year in 2009.

Chris Dougherty - Left hand opening batsman who is also in the Ireland A squad. Elegant stroke player with a good technique.

Gareth McKeegan - Talented wicket keeper and left hand bat. Rejoined Brigade after the demise of Killymallaght.

Johnnie Thompson - Regarded as one of the North West's best all rounders who can be a match winner, has been capped by Ireland.

Richard Wylie - Right hand batsman and off spinner; also an excellent fielder he is a valued member of the team, formerly played for Eglinton.

Trevor Britton - One of the top spin bowlers in local cricket, got a winning attitude and is a real team player, also useful with the bat in the lower order.

Graeme Moore - Right arm fast bowler and excellent fielder, will play an important role if his side are to win, also a good club man.

Ryan Brace - Aggressive lower order batsman, superb outfielder with a safe pair of hands also bowls medium pace and can swing the ball.

Mattie Moran - Attacking right hand batsman who has recently returned to first team action, can be dangerous in the middle order.

Thomas Thompson - Right hand batsman and fast bowler who many feel has not fulfilled his true potential.

Thomas Riddles - Lower order batsman and excellent fielder, joined Brigade after previous spells with Glendermott and Limavady.

Dale Culbert - First year with the club, former Killymallaght player, accurate medium pace bowler and excellent team player.

Reggie McCarron (Scorer) - One of the top scorers in the North West; always more than helpful has loads of experience.
