Brigade are in the running to do the double and after losing last year they will be determined to get their revenge and after defeating Richard Kee’s men by 10 wickets in a recent league game their confidence is sky high.

Here Sentinel Sport meets the Donemana squad for this weekend’s showpiece final.

Richard Kee (captain) - The skipper probably doesn’t get half the credit he deserves since taking over the reigns four years ago. His captaincy in that time has been excellent. A great batsman who is a joy to watch when he’s on song.

Andrew McBrine (vice-captain) - Andy needs no introduction really, now a regular in the Ireland side, he’s a class act in all disciplines of the game and at only 21 years of age is already the key player in this talented Donemana team. Last years man of the match in the final and few would bet against him having a big say again.

Junior McBrine - The veteran of the side, Junior has been nothing short of exceptional throughout his career. He can still win a game with both bat and ball and indeed it was probably Junior’s spell with the ball that turned last years final on its head

Kamran Sajid - Kammy is arguably one of the best professionals about. He has once again been in very good form with both bat and ball this season and will be looking for another big performance here.

Jordan McGonigle - One of the most experienced players in the side, his encouragement to the younger players in the side is of vital importance. His left arm spin bowling may cause Brigade’s batsmen plenty of problems.

Ricky-Lee Dougherty - Ricky is an outstanding talent behind the stumps and can be explosive and devastating with the bat. There are certainly few better keepers in Ireland and his three sublime stumpings in the semi-final just proved his worth to this team.

Thomas Riddles - Tom is an attack-minded opening batsman who has as good a technique as there is in the local game. He is one of the best fielders in the side and a great catcher anywhere on the pitch.

Stephen Wallace - Stephen has been a great addition to the side and has fitted in superbly. An opening batsman who also likes to attack the ball early and a great ground fielder. Will be looking to impress in his first Senior Cup final.

Gary McClintock - At only 17 this is Gary’s third full season in senior cricket and also his third Senior Cup Final.

He is a great all-rounder who seems to have more time than most at the crease, another great
talent.

William McClintock - Like his twin brother, William is aiming for three Senior Cup trophies on the trot. Has loads of ability with bat and ball and he would love to have a big impact in this final.

William McBrine - Another of the young guns who already has vast experience in the senior game. William has been a revelation with his off-spin, very hard to score runs off and has a knack of picking up important wickets.

Kyle Dougherty - Kyle has been having another very impressive season with the Second team. An all-rounder who has a great batting technique and yet another who is fantastic in the field.
