New kit sponsors for Loreto College Cricket team

Members of the newly-formed Cricket Club at Loreto College Coleraine have paid tribute to the sponsors of their new club shirts and equipment.

The club shirts were sponsored by Adams McGillan Estate Agency and Long Line Surf School. Visiting club practice on Friday 15th January, Miss Joanne McGillan was able to admire the club shirts in use as the players trained.

The boys also raised £250 for bats, pads, gloves and other essential kit through a bun sale during the Autumn Term. Coleraine Sports Council had previously awarded a grant towards kit.

Mr John Kildea, who leads Loreto’s Cricket Club, paid tribute to Miss Joanne McGillan (of Adams McGillan) and Mr Dan Lavery (of Long Line Surf School) as well as the Sports Council for their generosity in sponsorship of this new, exciting sports venture
