North West Cricket Union order sides to meet at Magheramason

The North West has ordered that the Danske Bank Senior Cup tie between Creevedonnell and Bready will now be played at Magheramason, this Saturday.

The game will start at 12noon and a result must be obtained on the day, even with a bowl-out.

The Union had the option of awarding the game to Bready based on reports received, however opted for a replay on this occasion.

As the tie will now take place this weekend both club’s respective’s league games in the Premiership and Championship against Strabane and Glendermott respetively are now postponed.

Meanwhile Ardmore Seconds will face St Johnston Seconds in the Qualifying Two Cup final, which takes place at Glendermott CC, on July 25-26.

The Bleachgreen men defeated Bonds Glen Seconds by 93 runs in Saturday’s semi-final tie, while the Donegal out-fit saw off Bready III.
