Torrential rain in Dublin on Saturday meant the ground at Pembroke was saturated, and the umpires abandoned the first game between Leinster Lightning and Northern Knights on arrival at the ground on Sunday morning.

Despite the best efforts of all the ground staff, the second winner-takes-all game between Leinster and NW Warriors suffered the same fate, following a pitch inspection at 1.15pm.
