Porterfield happy with Ireland win
Ireland’s T20 World Championship warm up programme got off to a solid start on Wednesday as Phil Simmons’ charges recorded a five wicket win over Nepal, in front of 5,000 local supporters.
Skipper William Porterfield was a happy man following the victory and he was also delighted with both North West duo Stuart Thompson and Andre McBrine’s contributions.
After the game in Fatullah, Porterfield spoke to Sentinel Sport’s cricket correspondent Barry Chambers.
