Seconds move to top of table

Ballymena were without their captain Neil Fullerton and Opener David Montgomery so the responsibility fell to Vice Captain Paul Black to keep the winning run going.

Black won the toss and chose to bowl, CSNI started well going to 44 without loss when Jeff Martin took a brilliant catch off White’s bowling, CSNI quickly lost another 2 before S Jabaar and R Morrow put up a fight to take CSNI to 131 before Black, who had replaced White, took the wicket of Jabaar on 43. This wicket was the start of a collapse from the visiting side who were all out for 144.

In reply the Ballymena innings started with William Montgomery looking in brilliant form along with Stephen Colgan taking Ballymena to 83 for 2 off 22 overs.

Richard White came in and supported an on form Colgan to a brilliant 67 not out to secure a very confident win for Ballymena.
