Skipper happy with opening victory

IRELAND captain William Porterfield was delighted after his side over-came Namibia by 34 runs, as they started their defense of their T20 crown, in Dubai, this morning.

The former Donemana man along with man of the match Paul Stirling gave Ireland the perfect platform, the pair, who both benefitted from dropped catches by the Africans, set the Irish innings up with an opening stand of 84 in just 53 balls.
