Success for Derriaghy
It was a weekend of victories for the Derriaghy Cricket Club as the Seconds and Fourths followed the example of the first team to record wins.
The Seconds beat Lurgan by 6 wickets as stand in captain Davy Scott led by example with 3 for 19 and 43 runs while Colin Crookshanks showed his experience with a solid 57 not out.
The Fourths beat CIYMS Fifths by 8 wickets as they chased down 128 with 14 year old starlet Josh Cardosi scoring 43 not out and he was helped by veteran John Close who finished on 49 not out.
The Third XI begin their league programme this weekend with games away to CIYMS Fourths on Saturday and then at home to Carrick Thirds on Monday.
