Summerscheme setfor July

The Lurgan Tigers summer cricket scheme will begin on Monday 1st July at Pollock Park. Tiger members have been attending coaching sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from the beginning of May but now that schools are finishing for the summer, practices will also be held during the day.

Sessions for primary aged members will run each Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings (10am to 11.30am) and for secondary aged members there will be sessions on Monday and Thursday afternoons (12noon to 1.30pm).

The scheme is being headed up by Lurgan’s Youth Development Officer, Graeme Hunter and the sessions will also be supervised by a number of other qualified coaches. The P2’s and P3’s will be playing Kwik Cricket. The P4’s and P5’s will play Inter Cricket. The P6’s and P7’s will be put through their pace by Lurgan professional, Niranjan Godbole.
