Thompson happy to be back amongst the runs
BRIGADE’S Johnny Thompson scored an unbeaten 70 in their six wicket victory, over Strabane, in the Northern Bank Senior Cup, on Saturday.
After the tie Thompson spoke to Sentinel Sport’s Editor Kevin McLaughlin. The Beechgrove men now travel to Donegal to face St Johnston in the quarter-finals.
Elsewhere in the draw Limavady visit Coleraine, Donemana host Glendermott and cup holders Bready make the trip to Burndennett.
All quarter-final ties are to be played by June 16.
