An excellent second-wicket partnership of 54 between Lorcan McCauley (20) and Sam Tweedie (15) provided the backbone of the Coleraine total of 115/4 from their allotted 20 overs.

In reply the accuracy of the Coleraine bowling made it difficult for the Limavady batsmen to score and they eventually restricted the visitors to 60 for the loss of four wickets.

Ben McConaghie, Faith Ball and Harry Carruthers all collected early wickets and the win was sealed by an excellent piece of flight by off-spinner Daniel Webb which was finished off by a sharp catch by Charlie McKnight at square leg in a spectacular ending to the game.

It was another encouraging win for Coleraine on the night who will have home advantage in the next round when they face Eglinton on Monday 23 June.
