Wallace shines
NEWBUILDINGS opening batsman Stephen Wallace completed a piece of history on Saturday, during their Long’s Supervalu Intermediate One league victory over Fox Lodge Seconds.
The left-handed batsman faced the first ball of the inning and was also at the crease to face the final ball of the innings, after he scored an unbeaten 147 runs, during the Waterside men’s 160 run victory.
The win for Newbuildings means they are still unbeaten this season, they have won four league games and drew another and they have won a few cup games.
