After putting Zimbabwe into bat the Ireland bowlers reduced Alan Butcher’s side to 163 for 5 off their 20 overs after some good tight bowling from George Dockrell (4-0-18-2) and North West Warrior Andrew McBrine (4-0-26-2).

Former Donemana man William Porterfield and Paul Stirling gave Ireland the perfect platform to chase down the runs, as they scored an impressive 80 before the skipper was caught for 31 runs.
