Lisburn decided to bat first and scored a useful 131 for 5 in their 30 overs. Adam Glass (60 not out) was ably supported by Ben Glass (18) and Cameron McDowell (22).

Adam was particularly fluent hitting 1 six and 6 fours.

Young Jude Holohan (1 for 22) opened the bowling with William Blair and impressed everyone with his pace and accuracy.

The highlight of the bowling was the outstanding performances of U13 stars Conor Blair (0 for 16) and Cameron Doak (1 for 25).

A gutsy 48 not out from Rane won the match for Muckamore but it was a very encouraging performance from such a young Lisburn team.

Easy win for U15s

Lisburn’s strong U15 team hammered Saintfield in the first round of the Graham Cup on Monday night.

Opening bowlers Jude Holohan (3 for 8) and Jude Postlethwaite (0 for 7) bowled with tremendous pace and aggression and simply blew a strong Saintfield top-order away.

They were supported by some excellent fielding with Nathan Doak, Joel Dundas and Zach Croskery taking sharp catches.

Eddy Kyle (2 for 1) and Matt Thornton (2 for 1) mopped up the tail as Saintfield limped to 24 all out.

Joel Dundas smashed 17 not out as Lisburn chased the total in only 11 balls to win by 10 wickets.

The team now play CSNI in the next round.
