While last Thursday night saw a new leader for the highest individual checkout in the league campaign when Dwayne Crossan of Macons took out a television standard 161 checkout so this must have been a heartstopping feeling when sinking the bullseye.

This is a fine achievement for any darts player under pressure during a competitive match environment, something which is normally seen on TV from the likes of Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, Michael Van Gerwen or the newly crowned BDO World champion Stephen Bunting.

After Dwayne’s exploits there were two other good ton plus checkouts came from Eamon Duffy (Calablanca) 114 and 71 finishes and John McKinney (Rising Sun B) 106.

Other good checkouts came from Paul Donnelly (The Depot) 90; Pauline Anderson (Longfield B) 89; Brian Harkin (Macons) 78; James Donaghey (Donaghys B) 72; Niall Logue (Macons) 68; Keith Darby (Macons) 58; Joe O’Hara (Eglinton CC A) 55 and 54 finishes.
