Crusaders too good for U-17s

BALLYMENA United under-17s suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of Crusaders on Saturday.

Ballymena started the brighter of the two teams with a opportunity falling to Jordan Waring but failed to convert his chance and Crusaders reacted to the opening pressure by scoring on 14 minutes.

The second half started the same as the first, with Ballymena pressing to equalise. Crusaders absorbed the pressure and went on the counter attack and several times hit the Ballymena wood work with Simon Boyd also making several top class saves.
