There are many benefits to mini football, including: More touches of the ball to increase participation and enjoyment; Fewer players on the pitch meaning simpler decisions and better understanding; Smaller pitches’ meaning greater concentration and interest among participants; More individual success leads to more children playing. In the long term, this leads to sustained participation levels beyond this age group.

The mini soccer programme allows kids to meet new friends, take part in small sided games and also allows them to be part of a team and improve their skills and techniques.

All coaches are certified by the IFA's Child Protection scheme, with the clubs head coach George McCallister (UEFA B) overseeing activities.
