Cup successes for Bowling Club and Fairhill Bar teams
Bowling Club defeated old rivals BT/PO Club to win the Pictorium Cup, while Fairhill clinched the Loyalist Cup with a final victory over Towers Tavern.

Bowling Club, Diamond Bar, Clough Rangers & BT/PO Club all played in this final to claim the Pictorium Cup.

Hide AdThe semi-finals saw BT/PO Club beat Clough Rangers 5-0 and Bowling Club beat Diamond Bar 5-2.
The final between Bowling and BT/PO was a close fought contest but Bowling won 5-1 to win the Cup with wins from Rodney White 2-1 bt John Stewart, Davy Logan (18) bt Mike Stubbs 2-0, Davy Martin bt Wul Crawford 2-0, Brian Elder bt Billy Gay 2-1, & Davy McFall (21-22) bt Derek Campbell 2-0. Geoff McIlveen was BT/PO's only winner, beating Willie Bones 2-0.
LOYALIST CUP
The last four line-up in this competition were Fairhill Bar, Social Club, Towers Tavern and Buffs Club. Fairhill beat Social Club 5-2 in the first semi-final before Towers Tavern whitewashed Buffs Club 5-0.
In the final, Fairhill were to strong for Towers beating them 5-1 with wins from Ian Rainey bt Davy McCaughren 2-1, Davy McFall bt Gary Dempster 2-1, Ashley Rainey (20-15) bt Andy McCaughren 2-0, George Foster bt Matthew McDowell 2-0 & George McDowell bt Ian Reynolds 2-0.
