Curran Ladies return to winning ways with victory over Newry
On rink one, P. Blair, S. McDermott J. Spiers and L. Simms played extremely well to record a 19-shot to 11 card over a strong home rink which was skipped by Sadie Rice.
M. Hardy, L. Swann, R. Gallagher and V. Noble seemed to be coasting on rink two when leading by 11 shots to 6 after 12 ends. But M. Loughran (Newry) stormed back with eight shots to Curran’s one over the remaining six ends for a 14 – 12 victory.
