Curran Ladies top the league

CURRAN Ladies returned from the their first away fixture of the season with a convincing 46-23 victory over Divis and five points in the bank.

Rink 1 - T Carmichael, J Moore, L Simms and M Shepherd (skip) won 25-15.

Rink 2 - J Gregory, J Spiers, S Greer and V Noble (skip) romped home 22-8.

Curran top the NIWBA Junior League with maximum points after four games.

This week they entertain Ward Park, Bangor, in the first round of the Joyce Kavanagh Trophy.

Today (Thursday) the ladies travel to Ballyholme, sponsored by A Marno.
