The event saw thousands of spectators enjoy the world’s most accessible cycle sport and the climax to the televised UK Pro/Am Series.

The finals, hosted by Prudential RideLondon, brought together the best amateur competitors to race alongside professional racers, who competed in the series representing the various regions the tour visited.

The Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Cllr John Scott, commented: “This is a fantastic achievement and the council is extremely proud and delighted for Nick.”
