CYCLING: Nigel Bradley continues form at Danny Boy Race

North West Cycling Club's Nigel Bradley took the top place on the podium in Feeny on Sunday adding to his successful streak of top place finishes in his last 3 races and takes him to the top points holder for A4 category racers in Ireland.

Bradley struck out for glory with 50 metres to the finish line to out sprint French Coleraine man Anton La Corre of Causeway Cycle Club.

The event, run by Roe Valley Cycling club, featured 3 races and over 160 riders.

The victory sees Bradley now promoted to A3 category where he hopes to shine.

The 50 mile A3 race was won by NRPT’s Marc Heany and ladies race won by Carn Wheelers Mairead McGurk.

The NWCC team go into this weekends Carn Classic road race in Maghera in buoyant form having won 2 out of 4 races so early in the season.
