Dalriada are frozen out

DALRIADA'S heroic rugby lads were finally beaten in the Schools' Cup on Saturday - by the weather.

The first XV's quarter final clash with Belfast Royal Academy was called off due to the freezing conditions at the weekend.

Indeed all the competition's ties were frozen off.

The Ballymoney boys will now take on their illustrious opponents this afternoon as they aim to make the final of the Schools' Cup for the first time in 17 years.

The squad and coaches have praised all those who have got behind the boys to spur them on to some excellent results so far and have called for them to come out in force again for the BRA game.

The match gets under way - weather permitting - at BRA from 3pm.

The Northern Bank Schools' Cup quarter final line-up looks like this:

Methodist College v Ballyclare High

Wallace High v Regent House

Belfast Royal Academy v Dalriada
