A massive crowd is expected and the hopes and expectations of the School and Town rest on the shoulders of these young rugby players.

Already the team and coaching staff have received numerous messages from home and abroad with former pupil Andrew Sleton commenting; “Lads the proudest moment of my rugby career was playing in the quarter final of the schools cup.

“You are only the third Dalriada side in over twenty years to get the chance to do that. We unfortunately fell at that hurdle playing away from home but you lads have home advantage.

“Let’s make it count and put Dalriada rugby on the map. I cannot wait to be there cheering you on!”

Rower Aaron Christie added: “Just before kick off during every game Bangor sing their school song in a huddle. I’m expecting a very loud rendition of ‘O Dalriadan land’ from the sideline to drown them out.”

Parking for supporters will be available in the Route Complex adjacent to the school. The First XV are hoping that everyone will come out as they aim for the semi final, kick-off is 10.30am.
