Dalriada Medallions triumph

Dalriada Medallion were back on form this week with a comprehensive win against Cambridge House.

The first ten minutes saw three tries all created from the boot of Angus Johnston who kicked expertly into space for the backs to run onto.

Scorers were Lockhart, Lyle and McCaughern. The last score of the half came after an excellent counter attack from fullback Pritchard and after quick recycling of the ball, good hands from Kernohan and Christie saw McCaughern go over in the corner for his second. Half-time score 26-0.

Dalriada started the second half hungry for more and from kick-off, the forwards hit it up and then the backs flashed the ball wide for McCaugern to score his third and an excellent team try.

Dalriada found themselves in the opposition 22 again with a scrum in the corner and the ball was moved wide to Lockhart who found space to glide in below the posts. The final score saw Lockhart get his third try with a mazy run starting inside his own half and showing the defence a clean pair of heels on the outside. The game finished with a huge try saving tackle from Steven Bingham. Man of the match was Angus Johnston. Final score 43-0 to Dalriada.
