Dalriada 1st XV’s plans have been finalised for their quarter final clash again Rainey at home this Saturday.

After the disappointment of last week’s game against RBAI the squad have now a focus on the Shield competition.

The defeat to RBAI by 14-7 did not reflect how close the game was and on another day Dalriada could have easily finished with a result reflective of their possession, pressure and territory.

It is this fact that they now focus on this competition and certainly enter this quarter final clash with confidence and optimism.

Strong support is always a key factor and there has been plenty of home town support in the campaign this season, despite the terrible conditions the weather has thrown up.

The game is due to kick off on Saturday at 11am at Dalriada. Supporters wanting to keep up with the news of how the teams are doing and any last minute changes to schedules, cancellations etc, are encouraged to join the Dalriada rugby twitter account @DalriadaRugby

The 2nd XV are still involved in cup rugby and look forward to their match on Wednesday 26th at 3pm at home. They take on Grovesnor.
