Both sides played very well and there was a lot of play at both ends of the pitch. Sweeper, Imogen Thompson scored the only goal at the end of the first half after a penalty corner and beating a strong line of Coleraine High’s defenders.

The player of the match was centre back, Stephanie McCahon, who played tremendously well, making strong tackles and sending the ball up the pitch. The team would like to thank their coach, Mrs Ruddock.

Earlier in the week, Dalriada U14Bs played Ballymoney High School at the Joey Dunlop Centre. It was a very tight match and ended in an intense 0-0 draw. Dalriada played well particularly Jill Hutchinson who plays right midfield and Imogen Thompson who plays sweeper.

I am giving Jill Hutchinson Player of the match for her good effort. The team would like to thank their coach Mrs Cleland.

The Dalriada U13 B Team travelled to Coleraine High School on Saturday morning. The weather conditions were very good.

Erika Graham scored for Dalriada Team half way through a closely contested first half. Careful defending from the Coleraine High Team resulted in the match finishing with a final score of 1-0.
