Daniel keeps ahead of the rest
Portadown’s Derek Wilson crossed the line in fourth while Waringstown’s Peter Caldwell took a solid top ten finish to show his potential.
Just outside the top ten saw Maralin’s Gareth Hoare, Portadown’s Mark Overend and Donaghcloney’s Gareth Thompson all in close contention, so these three will no doubt be keen to see who can make the top ten.

Hide AdMidfield also saw plenty of local contenders with Moira’s Paul Prentice and Craigavon’s Darren Kelly having a great closing race battle.
Craigavon’s Jordan Prentice and Maralin’s Richard Beattie will also be keen to move up the rankings after solid performances overall.
Saturday, May 12 will see Kirkistown back in action for the King of Kirkistown K plate meeting.
Racing on each of the next four Saturdays gets underway with the first of three heats starting at 10am, with the finals in mid afternoon.
