The 29-year-old will be last on stage on Boxing Day, with all the action getting underway at 6pm, live on Sky Sports.

Gurney, who is returning home for a few days before flying back to London on Christmas Eve, won’t be changing anything when he faces Anderson.

“I’ll prepare the exact same way, nothing extra, nothing less,” he said.
“I’ll do my couple of hours practice on the dart board, I’ll do my doubles, trebles, finishes and I’ll do everything the exact same, nothing changes for any player.

“As long as I prepare myself right, I’m happy enough to take on anyone.”
