Darts season starts

THE Eglinton & District Darts League returns to action tonight (Thursday) for the start of another interesting and exciting season.

There will be a total of 15 teams taking part this season and the new additions to the league are Donaghys B, Happy Landing, The Depot and The Vale.

The league committee would like to wish all 15 teams this season the best of luck for the season ahead.

Week One Fixtures: Longfield A vs The Depot; Donaghys B vs Rising Sun B; Macons vs Drummond Hotel; Rising Sun A vs John Ts; Calablanca vs Eglinton CC A; The Vale vs Longfield B; Eglinton CC B vs Donaghys A. Bye: Happy Landing.

The first league meeting is in the Longfield Inn on Monday, October 1 at 8.30pm sharp. All league teams must have at least one representative at this meeting or there will be an automatic fine for non attendance.

There will be many issues up for discussion and this meeting is the deadline for initial bar affiliation, team registration and player registration fees and if payment is not made at this meeting the committee has the right to suspend any teams until payment is made this season.
