DARTS: Woods and Spiers win Pairs tournament
Edith Woods and Joyce Spiers (No. 1 Eagles) are this year's winners in the Larne and District Ladies' Dart League Pairs competition.
In the semi-finals at the The British Legion Club, the duo saw off last year’s winners Barbara Allen and Jean Gillespie on a 2-1 scoreline.
Sharon O’Toole and Teresa Johnston (Legion Wings) were the winners in the other semi-final, defeating last year’s runners-up, Marwin Hardy and Linda Swann (No. 1 Eagles) 2-0.
In the final, Woods and Spiers won 3-1 against the Legion Wings pairing.
