This individual achievement is a great feat and was last done about three years back in the league from Steven Doherty from the Rising Sun A team and last December in pairs semi-final by Conrad Watson of the Rising Sun A.

In many recent years it has only been done twice now in league games.

James Bonham is a much respected darts player in the local scene and has a very good to watch but unorthodox stance before releasing his dart but this player consistently hits what he aims for.

Credit to James from the whole league and unless someone else comes up with something special he is set for highest checkout of our season at the annual dinner dance it can only be matched now but these maximum checkouts which are a rarity in the league campaign.

Other so far recorded high checkouts came from Dwayne Crossan (Macons) 117; Peter Burke (Calablanca) 105; Arthur Campbell (Macons) 100; Niall McGuinness (Donaghys A) 93; Martin Cooke (Longfield B) 90; Arthur Mullan (Murphys Bar) 80 and 79 finishes; Conrad Watson (Rising Sun A) 70; Raymond Millar (Murphys Bar) 67; Joe Dougherty (Drummond Hotel) 60; Alan Kane (The Depot) 56; David O’Hara (The Depot) 56; Terence Proctor (Drummond Hotel) 50.

There were four recorded 180 maximums last Thursday night and they came from Seamus O’Hara; David O’Hara; Charlene Kane and Dwayne Crossan. Three of these 180s were thrown in the Eglinton CC versus Depot game.
