Another six handicapper Martin Drain was second with a gross 75.

Category three covered the handicap range from thirteen to twenty. When the totting up was done, two thirteen handicappers topped the board.

Stephen McCann took the top prize with his gross 80. Stephen was round the front nine with five pars and four bogeys on his card. He was less conspicuous on the back nine but a birdie at the eleventh and pars at the tenth, fourteenth and eighteen sufficed to see him home. Kieran Kearney was runner-up with his effort of gross 83.

Category four was for handicaps between 21 to 28. It had much fewer entries and it was won by Roy Bratchie with a gross 92. This twenty-two handicapper had no major blips during his round and was a deserving winner. A birdie at the eleventh and pars at holes five and ten were his most celebrated returns.
