Linfield recorded their 15th victory of the season with a 3-2 away win at Greenbank B. Gary Rutherford, Billy Parke and Raymond Forsythe all won, with Harry Nelson and Hugh McMurtry responding for the hosts.

In a close match, Carrick A came out 3-2 winners over St John’s. Derek Newell, Ricky Bradley and Davy Wright all won with Alex Robertson (33) and Andy Reid winning for the visitors.

Davy Irwin and Jim Magill took the first two frames before Neil McKelvey with breaks of 58 and 37, Tommy Balmber (49) and Darren Agnew secured the win.

Ballyclare Old Boys came out top in their match against Carrick ‘B’.

Tommy Hart, Joe Lennon and Noel Vennard won for the hosts, with Jim Greene and Tommy Bond replying for the Carrick men.
