Denis makes it easy for Garvey B with fine win

Denis Rankin made it easy for Lisnagarvey B when he won by 34 shots and Garvey won by 39 shots, taking five points, against Antrim in NIBA Division 4.

A four and a five helped Rankin to a 16-3 lead at the tenth and a five and a six gave Garvey a 30-4 lead at 16 ends before they won by 34 shots.

Three threes helped Phil Lavery to a 13-6 lead at the tenth and Garvey added a three before finishing with a six to win by 16 shots.

Two threes helped Albert Morrison to a 12-5 lead at the tenth, but Antrim came back to 13-12 at 15 ends and went on to win by six shots.

Down 3-20 at the tenth and 6-23 at 15 ends Pat Hughes came back with two threes but still lost by five shots.
