20 minutes into the match McGeown found Magee with a threw ball namesake, Danny latched on to it and converted from an acute angle to score and set the Hirk on their way.

Pete Murray went on a solo run and fired wide, Nash also went close.

The town applied constant pressure for a period of 10 minutes and were awarded when, from a tap in, they drew level.

Some good football was played by both teams with a young Hirk team dominating for most off the match but couldn’t apply the finish, resulting in a draw.

Young Danny Magee played well, earning himself man of the match.
