Dessie powers himself to even more titles

Dessie Scott won both titles on Consecutive days for the fourth successive year.

Lifting in the 74kg class Dessie won both events and has now been selected to lift for Great Britain at the World Classic Championships in South Africa and the World and European Equipped Championships in the Czech Republic.

Dessie holds all the Classic and Equipped Northern Ireland records and several British and Commonwealth records.

He has also been selected to referee at the World Masters Bench Press Championships.

Dessie trains at Gerry’s Gym in Coleraine and is coached by Gerry McLaughlin.
