Dessie’s a powerful guy!
Dessie Scott continues to take Ballymoney powerlifting club to the top!
He recently broke the British Master’s unequipped bench press record three times at the Ireland bench press championship. Lifting in the 74 kilo class he broke the record his first attempt and thereafter with his two subsequent attempts.
Dessie has been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Masters championships in Texas, USA.
He trains at Gerry’s gym in Coleraine and is coached by Gerry McLaughlin.
